Major Implications of the Reform: 

An employer may not disfavour a job applicant or an employee for reasons connected with parental leave, in instances concerning: employment or invitation to interview, salary, or other employment conditions, direction or allocation of work, giving notice or dismissal. The burden of proof lies with the employer. The Equality Ombudsman (DO) may speak for the employee/job applicant.
