Rights of Migrants

This section presents a collection of norms affecting the rights of migrants in the destination country, such as the following: right of residence, right to work, access to the healthcare system, right to family reunification, and access to education.

Here you will find standardised information about policy changes in this field over time. It is important to note, however, that our focus is on more far-reaching reforms. Information on smaller policy modifications, such as slight changes to benefit rates, may not be found in this collection.

The data for this section were generously provided by the Collaborative SSH-FP7 project Temporary versus Permanent Migration - TEMPER (http://www.temperproject.eu).
